Available Instruments
It's customary for me to produce commissioned instruments in pairs. As such, I regularly have instruments available for purchase. Please inquire for details and pricing.
In early July of 2023, I began framing two 'Taskin' French models. One of the pair is still available and will be under construction until the Spring of 2024.

SUPER LOOPER
I invented this innovative device to assist, when out of my workshop, in quickly and easily making double helix loops on the ends of replacement wire. Crafted of black walnut and brass, it consists of a winding rod as well as a holding mechanism. Small, light weight and very easy to use, I have sold many of these tools worldwide.

TUNING HAMMER
I make this style of offset tuning hammer for use with historical tuning pins and they are much more forgiving on wrists and joints than the regular symmetrical style of hammers. Handles are available in either cherry, beech or Indian rosewood and all come with brass shafts and heads.

VOICING BLOCK
I designed these voicing blocks to allow easily cutting the angles along the full length of a plectrum from tongue to tip. For visual contrast I offer dark walnut blocks for cutting white delrin plectra and light coloured beech blocks for black delrin plectra. Dampers remain in place while cutting.

PEEK
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is hands down the best material currently available for the spring material in historical jacks. It has been tried and tested for years and is now an industry standard. I offer 10 feet of 0.4mm PEEK which is perfect for most historical jacks and tongues.
